HISTORY OF THE CLUB
Founded in 1989, the Bayonne Rugby Football Club competes in Div. III of USA Rugby’s Empire Geographic Union.
Drawing mostly from Hoboken, Bayonne and Jersey City, NJ and surrounding towns, the Club boasts over 60 players from 12 nations. In addition to A, B and Old Boys Sides, the Club also fields a highly competitive 7’s side each summer, participates in some of the top tournaments throughout the Northeast.
An active social schedule throughout the year is highlighted by our annual spring tour where the Bombers have taken on the local sides in such destinations as Ireland, Bahamas, Bermuda, Grand Cayman, Tortola and Turks and Caicos.
