(Old Boys vs. Manhattan, 2002)

History

Founded in 1989, the Bayonne Rugby Football Club competes in Div. II of the newly formed Empire RFU, within the Northeast RFU of USA Rugby.

Drawing mostly from Hoboken, Bayonne and Jersey City, NJ and surrounding towns, the Club boasts over 60 players from 12 nations. In addition to A, B and Old Boys Sides, the Club also fields a ‘7’s’ side each summer, competing in some of the top tournaments in the Northeast.

An active social schedule is highlighted by our annual spring tour where the Bombers have taken on the local sides in such destinations as Ireland, Bahamas, Bermuda, Grand Cayman, Tortola and Turks and Caicos.
